Meet Our Store Managers
Robert Holland, General Manager
Robert Holland has been working in eye care for over 15 years. He started out working in an optical practices surfacing lab and became manager in 3 years overseeing all manufacturing of patients lenses. He then trained as an optician and eventually managed the front of the store. He came onboard at Salisbury Optical in 2018 to help oversee their lab and lend aid to their front office. In 2022 he was named General Manager at Salisbury Optical to help oversee both their Salisbury and Berlin campuses. He thoroughly enjoys his job working at Salisbury Optical and looks forward to the future of the practice in the coming years. While not at work Robert enjoys spending time with his wife and son camping and at Disney World.
Vanessa White, Berlin Manager
Vanessa White was born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and has called Salisbury home for the majority of her adult life. She is a proud mother of two daughters and a doting grandmother to four. Outside of work, Vanessa is passionate about line dancing and dedicates her time as an instructor. She also gives back to the community through her active involvement with (Elks) IBPOE of the World. With an impressive tenure of over 30 years in the eye care industry, Vanessa has held various roles ranging from a front desk receptionist to an optician, specializing in measuring and fitting frames and lenses. She has also managed multiple offices throughout her career. Vanessa takes pride in forming genuine connections with her patients, many of whom she now considers lifelong friends. She is deeply committed to her role in the eye care industry and eagerly anticipates the many more years she will spend serving the community.
